When the President of Iran announced to the world his country had just launched three nuclear missiles at Israel, little did he realize his grand plan would set in motion a series of events that fulfilled prophesies in both Islamic and Christian holy writings by heralding the return of the Islamic Messiah, the one the Bible calls the Anti-Christ.
James Parker is currently a Pharmacist living in Las Vegas. He has competed in the Church Training Service of First Free Will Baptist Church in Garland, Texas, where he also competed in Music and Arts for singing and song writing. He has written over 100 songs. He became interested in Islam in 2006 which led him to research the Islamic end time prophesies as well as the Islamo-political events in the Middle East which formed the basis for this book. Parker has combined his knowledge of Islamic prophesies with decades of experience studying the bible to produce a compelling look at future events from a fresh and unique perspective.

James Parker has been a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church of Las Vegas, for many years. He is a committed Christian with a great working knowledge of the Word of God. His new book The Twelfth Imam: Rise of the Antichrist, though fictitious is based on solid Bible teaching concerning the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe this book will be an encouragement to many Christians and hopefully encourage those who do not know Christ to make a personal commitment to Him.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading James Parker’s book The Twelfth Imam: Rise of the Antichrist. The biblical premise and creative way in which the author wove Bible truth into his intriguing story, was not only entertaining but also challenging. We do not know exactly what will take place when the Anti-Christ is revealed, but it was intriguing to look into this future event through the eyes of the author. I recommend this book to anyone interested in biblical prophecy and who believes that the Word of God is to be interpreted literally.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Resounding Conclusion to an Epic End-Times Saga

As a lover of Christian end-times prophecy, "The Judgments of God" and the "12th Imam" series are awesome! This book delivers a powerful and deeply satisfying conclusion to what has been an incredibly compelling series.
From the very beginning, the characters draw you in. Prime Minister Rothberg's agonizing decisions, Isaac's courageous spiritual journey, and the Mahdi's chilling resolve create a enjoyable dynamic and believable conflict. I particularly enjoyed Sam and Denise; they are incredibly likeable and relatable characters. The way the author weaves together multiple storylines—from the political machinations in Jerusalem to the desperate struggles of survivors like Rebecca and Ethan, and the global implications of China's movements—is masterful.
The tension builds relentlessly, keeping you on the edge of your seat, but it's the ending that truly resonates. Without giving away spoilers, I can say it's incredibly sweet and provides a sense of hope and closure that is sometimes missing in this genre. Dare I say, this series could easily rival the legendary "Left Behind" series. In fact, for its likeable characters, intricate plotting, and profoundly moving resolution, I personally found it even more impactful. A must-read for any fan of the genre!

Even when presented with the mighty Hand of God
Us feeble humans often question, riot, and balk
Happy to retreat into our selfish, known cocoons
Rather than venture out into the Divine Light
Thinking that the revealing shine is too bright
Fearful apes cower in their caves, horrified
If only we could take up our Great Heritage
And go forth to see better, grow, and flourish
Perhaps we could even learn to get along?
The 12th Imam: The Tribulation Begins
I finished reading your manuscript this morning. I think both Christians and non-Christians are interested in books about the rapture and tribulation. There are so many events, details and interpretations to consider. The cover is eye-catching and tells about the story before the book is opened. I read a little last night, but the majority of the book I read all together this morning. I found it to be fast paced, in that I wanted to keep going instead of reading it chapter by chapter. I do believe it stays on topic and leads from beginning to end without getting sidetracked. Some books confuse me by straying too far from the story and I have to back up and remind myself what is happening. That didn't happen with your story. I like fast paced stories that stay on track like that. There are many characters in the story. I like that it keeps returning to Pastor Glenn for Biblical explanation. He wasn't raptured, yet it's obvious he knows the truth. I enjoyed reading your book today and honestly I wanted it to keep going! The ending was great. I could hear Mahdi speaking quietly. I guess your third book will pick up from that point.

James W. Parker is back with a brand-new action-packed Christian based science fiction story that will simply blow your socks off. This is book four in the 12th Iman series and is among the best. Parker continues to improve upon the world of the 12th Iman, with more dramatic storylines that are all interconnected and woven together in a masterpiece of storytelling.
Much like the previous three books in the series, Parker is able to weave ancient prophecies with current geopolitical issues and advanced technology is truly impressive. This fictional universe feels hauntingly believable, showcasing the author's thorough research and careful storytelling.
I would happily recommend the 12th Iman to any fan of science fiction who is looking for a new and compelling read. However, that being said, if you’re this far into the series, you already know what it’s all about. Go back and read the other books first!
A REVIEW OF JAMES W. PARKER’S
THE 12TH IMAM:
RISE OF THE ANTICHRIST
James W. Parker’s first novel is a fast-paced political action thriller that will appeal to religious and secular lovers of mystery and mayhem. The action takes place mostly in New York City and the Islamic countries of the middle east. Parker skillfully weaves together end times theology from the three great Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – and explores a maze of ancient prophecies that, if unchecked, might lead to “the end of days.” -- Dan Kane

James Parker has taken the well-established Bible doctrine of the rapture and presented it with a fresh look by tying it to Islamic end-time prophesies. While most end-time novels focus on the traditional narrative first established in the 1970’s, Parker has shown there is a clear Islamic connection to Christian end-time prophesies regarding the antichrist.
His approach is in keeping with the scriptures, and his approach feels as if it is taken right from the newspapers of today. We are currently seeing the rise of Islam with attempts to establish a one world caliphate along with the rise of extremists in countries such as Egypt, Syria, Libya and others. This, along with attempts to establish Sharia law in the US court system and in towns like Dearborn, Michigan makes the 12th Imam’s premise seem very plausible indeed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Read

The 12th Imam: The Judgement of God is a very well-written and easy-to-read book. It reflects many ongoing religious conflicts in a wide variety of settings. While each of the various conflicts seemed interesting, it was difficult to determine if there were any connections between them. And the central focus on the efforts of the Mahdi to control the entire world appeared at times to be anti-Islam. The use of multiple disasters (earthquakes, nuclear war, meteor hits, subsequent tsunamis, and plague) contributed to the overall chaos but were difficult to fold into the specific subplots. Using the “chip” to create universal control was scary but maybe just a little too futuristic. But, the many suspenseful situations kept me wanting to keep reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Prophetic Thriller of Faith and Global Conflict
Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2025
"The 12th Imam: The Judgments of God" plunges readers into a world teetering on the brink, where religious prophecy collides with political power and technological control. The narrative is immediately gripping, opening with Prime Minister Rothberg's agonizing decision to comply with the Mahdi's demand for an implantable chip, setting a chilling tone for the global stakes at play. The author masterfully weaves together multiple, converging storylines, from the Jewish community's outrage and Isaac's burgeoning Christian movement to the Vatican's attempts at unification and China's looming military presence.
The Mahdi emerges as a formidable and terrifying antagonist, his escalating violence against dissenters creating a palpable sense of fear and urgency. Isaac's unwavering faith and his efforts to rally a growing crowd against overwhelming oppression provide a powerful counterpoint to the Mahdi's tyranny, embodying hope and resilience. Meanwhile, the parallel narratives of dissenters like Sam, Denise, and Tom, strategizing in the shadows, and Rebecca and Ethan scavenging in a post-apocalyptic landscape, add layers of human struggle and moral complexity. This book is a fast-paced, intense exploration of faith, power, and survival in a world on the verge of cataclysm, making it a compelling read for anyone interested in geopolitical thrillers with a strong prophetic element.

The 12th Imam. Prelude to deception. James W Parker is a mind-blowing read by an author who has done great research and given careful thought to the subject of world chaos and distraction by a group of fanatics with twisted beliefs, as they methodically plan to unleash nuclear devastation on Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the Golan Hights, eliminating all forms of life, while preserving the physical structures.
This group of Islamic believers who are sworn to secrecy patiently await the return of the Madhi, who is the 12th and last Imam, and who they believe will return to establish peace and redeem Islam.
This book, the fourth in the series, leaves you in suspense, as to the connection of Sam Reynolds, a software engineer at ANA Tech. Ali, a boy caught in a bomb blast, who miraculously survives and is patiently nursed back to health, and Isaac and Rebecca Levinson, a elderly Jewish couple, heading for their long awaited dream vacation in Israel.
What part do they play in the pending chaos?

This book is highly recommended if you enjoy post-apocalyptic thrillers with a deeper level of meaning. The plot takes place in a destroyed America, where the world is facing the impending threat of the 12th Imam's supremacy, and Antichrist's preparations are taking shape. Deeply theological issues are also explored in the novel, which invites contemplation on faith, hope, and the clashing of ideologies in the midst of chaos. Most chapters open with a quotation from the Book of Revelation that makes reference to Islamic sources. "The 12th Imam: The Tribulation Begins" by James W. Parker is a thrilling and thought-provoking ride through a world turned upside down by the Rapture and the rise of the 12th Imam. Parker skillfully combines several theological traditions to create a compelling and thought-provoking story. The plot takes place in a destroyed America, where the world is facing the impending threat of the 12th Imam's supremacy, and Antichrist's preparations are taking shape. As a Christian deeply fascinated by eschatology, "The 12th Imam: Prelude to Deception" was a captivating read. This fourth installment in the 12th Imam series masterfully sets the stage for the global events we’ve been anticipating, weaving together prophecy, technology, and deeply human stories in a way that feels incredibly relevant to our times.
What truly stood out were the characters. From President Zaakir's weighty decisions in Iran to Rabbi Isaac Levinson and Rebecca's fateful journey to Israel, and Sam's moral struggle with his revolutionary tech, each character felt compelling and likeable.
The way the author ties together ancient prophecy with modern-day geopolitical tensions and cutting-edge technology is simply brilliant. It's a testament to the meticulous research and thoughtful storytelling that this fictional world feels so eerily plausible. The "hidden moments that set the world on a path toward destiny and darkness" are revealed with a slow-burn intensity that keeps you utterly engrossed.
